The phrase for this week is “part interchange’. All car companies do this Ford probably has the most issues. There will be parts on your older car that will be the same as another part on a different model or year. The Ying to that Yang is there are parts in the same line of models that are different sizes. That is my current situation.
These wheel parts have a big and a small bearing version. My inventory includes; two good original large bearing hubs, one good original large bearing spindle, one good purchased used small bearing spindle, two new part #A-37 small inner bearings. I ordered a new big bearing spindle that I will get next week.
My next step is to remove my races, seal, inner bearing, spindle-axle bushing clean them for identification. I will wait until I have the new spindle in hand to verify fit before buying any new parts. I am also travelling to eastern Georgia the next week. I will see if the part stores there carry my basics in stock.

My replacement spindle is noticeably smaller on the bottom two surfaces. The tops and general size are the same. My new bearings fit the small spindle but are too small for the hub. New cars are boring. Fix something old.
